The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taalasmaa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hovi as he avoids it easily.
Hovi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Taalasmaa's head backwards.
Taalasmaa tries to bum rush Hovi with a series of wild strikes but Hovi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hovi lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hovi tries to clinch there but Taalasmaa circles away.
Hovi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Taalasmaa falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hovi counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Taalasmaa is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
