Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Flow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Flow!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flow scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Flow trying to control the action but Nelson is working from the bottom.

Flow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nelson, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flow is working Nelson over with some ground and pound from side control.

Flow has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Nelson misses with a takedown attempt

and Flow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nelson's guard.

Nelson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Nelson tries to control Flow's body but Flow pushes him off. Nelson squirms to his side and now Flow has his back!

Even with his hooks in, Flow manages to miss with strikes from the back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nelson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Flow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nelson circles away.
Nelson misses with a takedown
and Flow counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Nelson wants to control but Flow postures up.
Nelson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Flow advances to half guard.

Flow postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Nelson to stand up.
Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Flow, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Flow against the cage but Flow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Flow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nelson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Flow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nelson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Flow wants to get back to striking at distance but Nelson won't allow it.

Jeff Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Flow.

Jeff Nelson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Flow is working for takedown but Nelson is calmly controlling the position for now.

Nelson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Flow pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Flow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nelson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flow fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Justin Flow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Flow swings around for an armbar but Nelson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Flow's guard.

Flow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nelson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Flow clinches up with Nelson and pushes him back against the cage.
Flow is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Flow blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nelson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Flow is keeping busy.

Flow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nelson has had enough of the clinch but Flow keeps him there for the moment.
Flow wants a takedown but no success here.
Nelson is looking to break free of the clinch but Flow has double underhooks.

Nelson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nelson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flow tries to avoid it but Nelson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flow to the ground. Flow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nelson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Flow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Flow tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nelson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nelson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Flow smiles and moves away.
Flow shoots for a takedown but Nelson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nelson lands a nice looking body shot.

Nelson misses with a takedown attempt - Flow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flow but Flow pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nelson wants to clinch but Flow slips to the side

and Flow moves into the clinch.

Flow drags the fight down to the ground.
Flow throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Flow looking for a sweep. Not yet Flow, not yet.

Flow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Flow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nelson manages to get himself to full guard.

Justin Flow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Flow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
