Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maipazong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maipazong Lee!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters misses with the combination.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maipazong Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Masters keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee stuns Masters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Masters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Masters darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Masters is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Masters is controlling him.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.

Masters shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Masters showed some decent athleticism there.
Masters thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.
Lee is staying active underneath Masters, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Masters is looking to stall here but Lee recovers full guard.

Masters is looking to advance position but Lee has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Masters wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lee.
Lee throwing strikes here but Masters is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Lee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Masters to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Masters shrugs it off.
Lee looking to ground and pound but Masters is blocking nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lee controlling his opponent.
Lee won't let Masters get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Masters is trying desperately to improve position.
Lee throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Lee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Masters blocking the ground and pound.

Lee with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Masters is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Lee controlling from mount.
Lee trying to control but Masters is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lee thowing shots but they're missing.
Lee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Lee unloads with some shots from mount but Masters bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Masters tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lee in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maipazong Lee dominated that round.
That's time! Masters's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Masters clinches up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Lee's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Masters shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lee drops Masters with a left and a right! Oh, Masters is hurt - Lee dives into side control looking to finish!


Masters is rocked!


It looks like Ken Masters has been cut.

Lee decides to stand back up.
Oh Masters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee misses with a body shot.
Masters seems to have got his legs back now.
Masters slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Masters takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Masters shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Masters manages to avoid it.
Masters misses with a body kick.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Masters rather than just go for the knockout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lee thows a body shot but no joy.
Lee throws a hook but Masters blocks it.
Masters uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee.

Lee keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Masters tries to clinch up.
Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Masters's head.

Masters shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maipazong Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee stuffs the takedown.

Lee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Masters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lee lands with a hook. Masters tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Masters is just out of range.

Masters closes the distance and clinches.

Masters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Masters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Masters.
Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Masters on the side of the head.
Masters moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Lee takes a swing at Masters's ribcage but misses.
Lee takes one to the chin there.
Masters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Masters tries to move into range but Lee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Masters fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice jab there from Lee.
A head kick from Masters lands but Lee takes it in his stride.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Masters on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Masters's head backwards.
Lee throws a series of punches but Masters avoids them all with ease.
Masters moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Lee digs a good body shot into Masters's ribs.
Masters throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.
Masters has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Masters was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Masters.
A shot to de liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot.
Masters dodges the punch combination from Lee.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Masters does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee avoids the head kick by Masters.
Lee looks to land a combination. Masters sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Masters looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Masters is looking to advance position but Lee won't allow it.

Lee is trying to stand back up but Masters is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Masters wants to stand up but Lee is controlling the position.

Masters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Masters eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee manages to escape and get back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maipazong Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Ken Masters's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Masters looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Masters dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Masters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lee lands a body shot.

Maipazong Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
