The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kova lands a left and a right that send Penn crashing to the mat, dazed. Kova thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Donovyn Penn has been cut.

Kova has closed the distance and engaged Penn in a clinch.
Kova can't get the takedown.

Kova pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kova fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Penn circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kova shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Penn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kova looks up at the clock and then as Penn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kova smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
