Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Wacky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wacky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wacky seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muller can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wacky trying to control but Muller is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wacky tries to clinch but Muller is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wacky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wacky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wacky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wacky postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Muller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wacky, into his guard.
Wacky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Muller postures up and lands a big shot to Wacky's brow.
Muller stands up over Wacky, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wacky is looking to stand up but Muller isn't so interested in that idea.
Wacky pushes Muller off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wacky tries to clinch but Muller moves out of range.
Brian Muller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muller gets the takedown into side control.
Wacky explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Wacky shoots in but no luck this time.
Muller gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Muller tightens his grip and picks Wacky up, before dumping him to the ground. Wacky manages to land in guard.

Muller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wacky to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wacky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Muller has managed to get both his arms back between Wacky's legs - danger averted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wacky has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Muller should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wacky has tightened it up now! Muller should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
