Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Markku Alarinne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clayton Haller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alarinne's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Chiquita Ska Band - American Jesus. Haller has chosen The Race Is On - Sawyer Brown as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clayton Haller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Haller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alarinne has him pressed against the cage.

Haller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A jab from Haller misses.
Alarinne throws a nice inside leg kick.
Haller lands a jab to Alarinne's midsection.
Alarinne throws out a leg kick but Haller moves out of range and Alarinne only half commits.
Alarinne moves out of range as Haller strikes.

It looks like Markku Alarinne has been cut.
Alarinne misses with a body kick.
A clash of legs there as Haller blocks the low kick.

Haller moves into the clinch.
Alarinne keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Haller's efforts to push away.
Alarinne fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Alarinne misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Haller.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Haller avoids the elbow strike from Alarinne, against the cage.

Haller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Haller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alarinne has him pressed against the cage.

Haller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Haller uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alarinne has time to react.
Alarinne throws a nice looking combination but Haller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Alarinne tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Haller moves into the clinch.
Alarinne tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Haller slows down the pace here.
Alarinne tries to pull guard but Haller won't allow it.
Haller is looking to break free of the clinch but Alarinne has double underhooks.
Alarinne tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Haller smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Markku Alarinne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alarinne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Alarinne gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haller tries to clinch but Alarinne moves away
and Alarinne makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Alarinne fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Haller sprawls well initially but Alarinne persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Haller gets back to full guard.

Alarinne drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Haller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alarinne has Haller in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alarinne is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Haller rolls with it to try and escape but Alarinne cranks on the arm and Haller is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
