Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between tyler jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and carl jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). carl jordan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, carl jordan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

jordan rushes jackman and presses him up against the cage.

jordan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
jordan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
jackman fails with a takedown attempt.
A good leg kick by jordan.
Some bone on bone action there as jackman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
jordan cracks the inside of jackman's front leg.
jordan throws a head kick but jackman moves out of range.
jackman dodges the punch combination from jordan.

jackman feints and as jordan raises his hands in defense, jackman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

jordan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. jackman defends it easily.

jackman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! jordan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! jordan has escaped and now he's on top!
jordan postures up in jackman's guard and throws a big left but jackman blocks it.
jackman wants to sweep here but jordan controlling him for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

jordan gets to his feet. jackman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
jordan throws a head kick but jackman moves out of range.

jackman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

jackman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jordan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
jackman is breathing heavily.
jordan can't do much from the bottom here.

jordan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
A looping hook to the body misses from jackman. jordan does a little dance to reset his feet.
jordan misses with a head kick.
jordan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed jackman momentarily.
jordan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

jordan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

jordan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in jackman's guard.
jordan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

jordan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

jackman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

jordan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

jordan dives in and grabs jackman's left leg, looking for a takedown. jackman pushes down on jordan's head and hops out.

jordan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics jackman uses from the top position.
jackman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

jackman got a little sloppy there for a moment and jordan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, jackman has managed to get both his arms back between jordan's legs - danger averted.

Horrible takedown by jackman or perhaps it was just good defense by jordan which made him look bad.

jordan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than jordan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

jordan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and jackman defends it well.
jackman is trying to stand back up but jordan is controlling him

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well jordan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
