PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seb Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos da Guia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying da Guia's choice of entrance music: Saturate - Chemical Brothers. On his way into the cage it seems that Seb Carter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Seb Carter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a leg kick but da Guia sees it coming and moves out of range.

da Guia pushes Carter up against the cage in a clinch.
Carter has had enough of the clinch but da Guia keeps him there for the moment.

Carter breaks from the clinch.
da Guia tries to clinch up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Carter.
Carter throws a one two combo.

It looks like Carlos da Guia has been cut.
Carter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carter cracks da Guia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Carter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of da Guia's head.
Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
da Guia walks into a jab.

da Guia is rocked!
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
da Guia is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him?
Carter rushes da Guia with punches - da Guia moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, da Guia goes down! Carter follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seb Carter!
