Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Strap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iroquois Pliskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strap comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck by ACDC. Pliskin has chosen Metal Gear Solid Main Theme as his entrance music. Iroquois Pliskin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Iroquois Pliskin!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pliskin moves out of range as Strap strikes.
Strap tries to clinch but Pliskin is having none of it.
Pliskin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strap is looking to clinch but Pliskin is avoiding it.
Pliskin drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pliskin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Strap is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pliskin wants to control from the top but Strap keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pliskin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Strap is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Strap has escaped and now he's on top!
Strap wants to stand and escape but instead Pliskin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pliskin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Strap manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pliskin has Strap in his guard.
Pliskin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Strap stays in close to Pliskin's body and controls the position.
Pliskin has an active guard here but Strap has managed to pass into half guard.
Pliskin tries to roll over but Strap keeps him under control.
Strap seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pliskin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pliskin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Strap is working away from the top position though.

Pliskin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Strap just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pliskin's brow.

Strap scores with a knee to the head.

Strap gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Pliskin regains guard.

Jacque Strap has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Strap working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pliskin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pliskin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pliskin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Strap thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
