The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jericho throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alexander cracks Jericho with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Andrew Jericho has been cut.
Andrew Jericho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jericho shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jericho tries to clinch up.
Jericho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alexander as he avoids it easily.

Alexander sends Jericho crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Alexander is motioning to the referee to let Jericho up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Alexander slaps away a takedown attempt from Jericho, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jericho shoots in looking for a takedown. Alexander tries to sprawl out of it but Jericho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alexander manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Alexander lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jericho off his feet! Jericho tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
