PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uloste Lasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puska comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tupac - Hit Em Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Puska!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puska slaps away a takedown attempt from Lasse, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lasse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lasse instigates a clinch.

Lasse's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lasse lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lasse moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lasse swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Puska.
Puska should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lasse defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Puska.
Lasse bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Puska dodges the punch combination from Lasse.
Lasse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Puska is fending him off so far but Lasse persists. Nope, Puska circles away and we're back to standing.
Puska throws a combination that misses
and Lasse counters with a series of strikes. Puska will be more careful next time no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lasse dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Puska throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lasse counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lasse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uloste Lasse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lasse blocks a head kick by Puska.

Lasse throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Puska looks gassed!
Lasse throws a one two combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Puska misses with a double jab

and Lasse counters with a crisp one two that drops Puska! Lasse thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Puska to his feet! Puska is in big trouble!

Puska is rocked!
Lasse thuds a left hand into Puska's body.
Lasse stalks Puska and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Puska's face. Puska staggers backwards, shaken.
Lasse throws a right and a left that Puska avoids nicely.

Lasse lands a left and a right that send Puska crashing to the mat, dazed. Lasse thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Puska is still on wobbly legs! Can Lasse finish him?
Lasse connects with a stiff jab that staggers Puska - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
