The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hansen clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the ropes.

Gracie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hansen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Hansen still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Hansen has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Hansen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gracie is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hansen yanks on the arm and Gracie is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hansen .
