The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ruas misses with a jab, cross combination.
ruas misses with a hook. Smythe ducked under it nicely.
Smythe shoots in for a double leg but ruas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
ruas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Smythe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smythe fails with a takedown attempt.

Smythe shoots for a takedown but ruas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
