Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kizzy Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heihachi Hayashida!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hayashida.
Hayashida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Suzuki but Suzuki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Suzuki throws a right and a left that both miss.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hayashida.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hayashida.
Kizzy Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heihachi Hayashida.
Suzuki works Hayashida's body with a nice hook.

It looks like Heihachi Hayashida has been cut.
Suzuki misses with a series of wild punches.
Suzuki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hayashida buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hayashida feints and as Suzuki raises his hands in defense, Hayashida changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suzuki is pulling down on Hayashida's head. It's preventing any offense from Hayashida, at least for the moment.
Hayashida throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suzuki is trying to force a seperation but Hayashida has the dominant position.
Hayashida has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Suzuki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hayashida jumps guard and drags Suzuki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hayashida is looking for a triangle here but Suzuki uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hayashida gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Hayashida can't escape the position.
Hayashida is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Suzuki has taken his back.

Hayashida manages to reverse the position and now he's in Suzuki's guard. Nice work there by Hayashida.

Hayashida loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That's time! Suzuki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hayashida shoots for a takedown but Suzuki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hayashida tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Suzuki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kizzy Suzuki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hayashida takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Suzuki lands with an overhand left.
Hayashida walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hayashida seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Suzuki shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hayashida is backing up but Suzuki catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hayashida covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Suzuki Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kizzy Suzuki!
