Guenette has chosen Lamb of God - Beating on Death's Door as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in for a takedown but Guenette shows good takedown defense.
Rua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rua wants to clinch up but Guenette keeps it at a distance.
Guenette bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rua is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Guenette off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Travis Guenette just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Guenette counters with a single leg into guard. Rua didn't expect that.
Guenette is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Guenette has hold of Rua's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rua seems comfortable defending it but Guenette has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rua is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rua is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Guenette couldn't care less - he's delighted!
