The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Gomez ducks down to avoid it.
Gomez shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith stuns Gomez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Smith drops Gomez with a beautiful combination! Gomez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!

Gomez is rocked!

It looks like Julian Gomez has been cut.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gomez is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Gomez takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Smith cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
