Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Shifflett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shifflett has chosen System Of A Down - Toxicity as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tomasz Adamek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Shifflett!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shifflett staying out of range there.
Adamek darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Shifflett dodges the punch combination from Adamek.
Adamek throws a hook but Shifflett avoids it easily.
Adamek throws a big shot that misses.
Adamek displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shifflett.
Adamek scores with a nice head shot.
Adamek looks to land a left hand but Shifflett moved out of range nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Adamek.
Adamek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adamek wants it to stay on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shifflett shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Adamek is trying to defend but Shifflett finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Shifflett drops down looking for an ankle pick but Adamek pulls his leg out and moves away.

Shifflett is working for takedown but Adamek is calmly controlling the position for now.
Shifflett drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Adamek gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Adamek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shifflett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adamek swivels and escapes.

I would just about give that final round to Ray Shifflett.
I think Shifflett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
