Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Chevarie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds has chosen Lights Out - Bobby Light as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Niko Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds pushes Chevarie up against the cage in a clinch.
Reynolds slowing the pace effectively.
The crowd are getting on Reynolds's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Reynolds breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chevarie misses with a hook.
Reynolds shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chevarie sprawls well. Chevarie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reynolds gets slowly back to his feet.
Chevarie misses with a wild body shot.
Chevarie throws a hook but Reynolds avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Chevarie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Reynolds doesn't seem phased though.
Chevarie throws a jab but it's blocked by Reynolds.
Reynolds closes the distance and clinches.
Reynolds breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chevarie misses with a few strikes there.
Chevarie connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chevarie lands with an uppercut that bounces Reynolds off the cage and back into rage.
Nice defenses there by Reynolds.
Reynolds takes a body punch but keeps moving.
No joy there for Reynolds, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chevarie lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Reynolds is rocked!
Reynolds swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chevarie swings for the body but Reynolds moves out of range.
Reynolds dodges the punch combination from Chevarie.
Reynolds misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Reynolds.
Reynolds looks gassed!
Chevarie is trying to buck Reynolds off.
Reynolds in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reynolds is looking to take a break and control but Chevarie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reynolds thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Reynolds tries for a kimura but Chevarie is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reynolds working the body and head with strikes.
Chevarie is pushing Reynolds's head away, looking to escape. Reynolds manages to hold on to the position though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Reynolds misses with a double jab
and Chevarie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Chevarie misses with a two punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chevarie lands a left and a right that send Reynolds crashing to the mat, dazed. Chevarie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Reynolds is still on wobbly legs! Can Chevarie finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chevarie is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Reynolds flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Reynolds is out cold! Chevarie holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaston Chevarie!
