Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nando Ferraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Patino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julio Patino told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patino throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferraz's waist but Ferraz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patino off to one side.
Patino fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Patino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferraz but Ferraz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nando Ferraz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Patino.

Patino is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ferraz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ferraz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ferraz wants it to stay on the feet.
