The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xolera throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

De Santos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Xolera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Xolera is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, De Santos asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Xolera throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but De Santos blocks it with crossed arms.

Xolera turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Xolera manages to end up in side control.

De Santos sneaks out the side door and pushes Xolera away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Isaac De Santos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
De Santos prevents Xolera from getting back to his feet.
De Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xolera swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for De Santos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
