Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Ornias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ariel Ornias!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz slips a straight right by Ornias.
Ortiz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ornias was well out of range. Poor timing from Ortiz.
Ornias misses with a body shot.
Ortiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ornias manages to avoid it.
Ornias scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ornias fails to land with a series of punches.

Ortiz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ortiz showed some decent athleticism there.

Ornias is trying to maintain the position but Ortiz is very close to passing his half guard.
Ortiz tries to stand and escape but Ornias is controlling the position.
Ornias blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ortiz.

Ortiz is working for a kimura but Ornias is defending it quite comfortably.
Ornias has his hands clasped together around Ortiz's back. He's all about the action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ornias works Ortiz's body with a nice hook.
Ornias paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ornias stuffs the takedown attempt from Ortiz. Ortiz gets slowly back to his feet.
Ortiz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Chito Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ornias lands with a nice body punch.
Ornias lands a lovely overhand right.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ornias bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ortiz's head backwards.
Ortiz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Ortiz is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ornias ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Ortiz's jaw. Ortiz's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ornias does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
