Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in and bounces Awesome off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Awesome looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Awesome keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Awesome swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brown is working hard here to advance position.
Awesome pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage.
Brown is in close to Awesome's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Awesome keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown wanted to stand there but Awesome had control of the position.
Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Awesome is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Awesome is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.
Brown trying to control but Awesome is working from the bottom.
Awesome wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Brown has closed the distance and engaged Awesome in a clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Brown pulls guard successfully.
Brown is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brown looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Brown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Brown stalling.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brown is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Awesome with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Awesome defends the submission attempt.
Awesome has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown uses his free foot to push down on Awesome's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Awesome.
Awesome is trying to escape the mount.

Brown is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Awesome gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab.
Awesome takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Brown scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Awesome can't do much from the bottom here.
Awesome is looking for a sweep.

Awesome tries to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
Brown manages to capitalize on a mistake by Awesome to take his back!

Brown is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Awesome has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brown has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Awesome taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brown doesn't care though - he's delighted!
