MARLEY is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by NEVER GET BURN. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as NESTA MARLEY enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Carwin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carwin showed some decent athleticism there.
Carwin wants to take a breather but MARLEY is having none of it.
MARLEY is controlling Carwin's trapped leg to prevent Carwin from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MARLEY is concentrating on defense, preventing Carwin from advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MARLEY is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carwin pulls his head out easily.
Carwin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but MARLEY does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

MARLEY is trying to maintain the position but Carwin is very close to passing his half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Carwin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MARLEY paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Carwin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
MARLEY can't do much from the bottom here.

A bit of a lull in the action here.
Carwin wants to control but MARLEY is keeping him busy.
MARLEY is trying to control Carwin's posture but Carwin avoids it.
Carwin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MARLEY on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Carwin counters with a series of strikes. MARLEY will be more careful next time no doubt.

Carwin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MARLEY paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

MARLEY is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
MARLEY trying to control the position from guard on top but Carwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carwin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

MARLEY has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Carwin defend it? MARLEY steps over the head and cranks it - Carwin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for MARLEY!
