The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nihilist takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nihilist shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pimp defends it nicely.
Nihilist shoots in looking for a takedown. Pimp tries to sprawl out of it but Nihilist keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pimp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Nihilist, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pimp tries to clinch up.
Pimp fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nihilist fails to land with a series of punches.
Nihilist fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darth Nihilist. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pimp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nihilist shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pimp sprawls well. Pimp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nihilist gets slowly back to his feet.
Pimp tries a head kick but it misses.
Pimp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nihilist swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pimp tries to clinch but Nihilist moves out of range.
Nihilist changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pimp tries to avoid it but Nihilist manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pimp to the ground. Pimp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shorty Pimp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pimp tries to clinch there but Nihilist circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pimp pushes Nihilist up against the cage in a clinch.
Pimp tries to land a knee to the head but Nihilist blocks with his arms.
Pimp using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nihilist has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Pimp misses with a knee to the head.
Nihilist tries to pull guard but Pimp won't allow it.
Pimp looking to throw knees to the head but Nihilist is blocking nicely.
Pimp lands a good knee to the midsection. Nihilist won't want to take too many of those.

Pimp tries a knee to the head but Nihilist blocks it.

Nihilist drags the fight down to the ground.

Nihilist is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pimp is aware though and is defending well.

Pimp is sitting in close to Nihilist's body. Nihilist has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pimp is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pimp is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nihilist.
