Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fjodor Kanchelskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Cross!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fjodor Kanchelskis!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cross closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Cross drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kanchelskis has Cross pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Cross manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kanchelskis has picked Cross up - he's going for a ride! Kanchelskis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Cross is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Kanchelskis shoots in looking for a takedown. Cross tries to sprawl out of it but Kanchelskis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Cross manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
