PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Kempton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tyzzkling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Tyzzkling!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyzzkling fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kempton, pushing him back against the cage.
Tyzzkling should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tyzzkling gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kempton regains guard.

Kempton working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tyzzkling has passed into half guard!
Kempton manages to get to full guard.

Tyzzkling got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kempton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyzzkling has managed to get both his arms back between Kempton's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kempton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyzzkling manages to get himself to full guard.
Tyzzkling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kempton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kempton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tyzzkling is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kempton, into his guard.
Tyzzkling must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kempton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyzzkling distracts Kempton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kempton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Tyzzkling frees his head nicely. Oh but Kempton has switched to an armbar! Tyzzkling is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
