Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magus Helmstead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helmstead's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blitzkill. Magus Helmstead had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Malcolm Reynolds has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Magus Helmstead's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmstead tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Helmstead will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Reynolds.
Helmstead is trying to control Reynolds's posture but Reynolds avoids it.
Reynolds throws an elbow but Helmstead slips to the side and avoids it well.
Reynolds scoring with punches and elbows.
Reynolds working the ground and pound.
Helmstead knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reynolds on the ground.
Reynolds throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Helmstead gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reynolds is pressing down on Helmstead's thigh, looking to free his foot. Helmstead is holding on for now.
Helmstead looks like he's trying to stand up.
Reynolds looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Helmstead with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
