Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Katsuo Kuro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joeri De Visscher!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kuro wants to clinch up but De Visscher keeps it at a distance.

Kuro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Visscher on the ground.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kuro looking to sit in guard and control but De Visscher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

De Visscher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kuro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kuro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De Visscher for as long as he can get away with.
Kuro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kuro's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Joeri De Visscher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got De Visscher winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
