Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Gorki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Igor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladislav Gorki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Igor!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorki throws a sloppy head kick and Igor moves out of range easily.
Gorki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gorki wants it to stay on the feet.
Gorki shoots and misses
and Igor counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gorki!
Gorki is desperately trying to improve his position but Igor has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Igor has his foot on Gorki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gorki works his way back into a safe position though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Igor is on top in guard.

Igor is nestled in close to Gorki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

so Igor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Igor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gorki doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Igor.

Gorki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Igor's guard.
Gorki stands and throws Igor's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gorki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Igor keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gorki cracks Igor with a big right hand but Igor just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Igor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gorki off and has taken his back!

Igor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Igor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gorki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gorki is stalling here. Igor is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gorki seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Igor has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
