Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vardan Mamikonyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danjah Aina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danjah Aina will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamikonyan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aina to the mat! Aina manages to get full guard.
Aina has an active guard here but Mamikonyan has managed to pass into half guard.
Mamikonyan tries to stand and escape but Aina is controlling the position.
Aina is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mamikonyan pulls his head out easily.

Mamikonyan decides to stand back up.

Mamikonyan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Aina lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Aina.
It looks like Vardan Mamikonyan has been cut.
Mamikonyan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Aina feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aina drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mamikonyan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aina has Mamikonyan in his guard.
