Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Hilga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick comes into the arena with The Eternal Triangle blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dick tries to clinch up but Hilga circles away and keeps his distance.

Dick has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hilga avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hilga avoids the attempt from Dick to control.

Hilga throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dick because Hilga loaded up on that one.
Jim Dick has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hilga pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hilga wants to control the pace but Dick is squirming around nicely.

Well Hilga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
