Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Piechowiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Kukushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kukushkin has chosen Kukushka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kukushkin finds it's way through Piechowiak's defenses.
Piechowiak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kukushkin throws an overhand right that lands on Piechowiak's shoulder, as Piechowiak tries to avoid the shot.
Piechowiak throws out a loose jab but Kukushkin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kukushkin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kukushkin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kukushkin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kukushkin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kukushkin thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kukushkin wants to control from the top but Piechowiak keeps moving.

Kukushkin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kukushkin looking to sit in guard and control but Piechowiak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kukushkin kicks Piechowiak off and gets to his feet.
Kukushkin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Piechowiak counters with a one-two to the body.
Piechowiak throws a right and a left that Kukushkin avoids nicely.
Jab, jab by Kukushkin - just one landing.
Piechowiak tries to clinch but Kukushkin is having none of it.

It looks like Pawel Piechowiak has been cut.

Kukushkin thuds a left hand into Piechowiak's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piechowiak misses with a combination
and Kukushkin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kukushkin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Piechowiak lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Piechowiak.
Kukushkin swings for the body but Piechowiak moves out of range.
Kukushkin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Piechowiak on the side of the head.
Pawel Piechowiak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kukushkin sends Piechowiak crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kukushkin is motioning to the referee to let Piechowiak up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Piechowiak is rocked!
Kukushkin steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Piechowiak is out on his feet! Kukushkin sets himself and nearly takes Piechowiak's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
