Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garvan Grocz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes's entrance music is PANTERA - The Great Southern Trendkill. A fine choice. Grocz has chosen Stranglehold as his entrance music. Garvan Grocz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Garvan Grocz!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grocz moves into range and connects with a jab.
Grocz clinches with his opponent.
Barnes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Grocz pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Grocz pulls guard successfully.
Grocz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barnes is one step ahead there.
Barnes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Grocz trying to control the position here.
Barnes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Barnes stopping the sweep attempt from Grocz.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grocz is on top in guard.
Grocz wants to control from the top but Barnes keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barnes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Grocz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barnes is keeping the position for now.
Grocz postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barnes can't keep his opponent in guard - Grocz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Grocz tries to pass to full mount but Barnes defends it.
Grocz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Barnes darts in trying to clinch
and Grocz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes keeping moving, preventing Grocz from controlling successfully.
Grocz looking to sit in guard and control but Barnes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Grocz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Barnes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Grocz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barnes's guard.
Grocz pushing down on Barnes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grocz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Barnes sees it coming and defends easily.
Grocz missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Grocz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Barnes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grocz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grocz's back!
Barnes scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Grocz is looking for a way out.
Barnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grocz on the ground.
Barnes has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Grocz.
Grocz looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Barnes is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Barnes gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Barnes gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Barnes apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Grocz is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barnes punishes Grocz's body with a nice straight punch.
Grocz looks gassed!
Barnes clinches but Grocz breaks the clinch
and Grocz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barnes tries to close the distance and clinch but Grocz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Barnes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Grocz! Barnes dives in looking to finish! Grocz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Barnes!
