The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sarpong's hands.
Sarpong throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sarpong throws a front kick that sends Edwards stumbling back into the cage.
Edwards throws a right hand that Sarpong ducks under and follows up with a left that Sarpong also avoids with ease.
Edwards stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sarpong.
Edwards misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Edwards throws an overhand right that lands on Sarpong's shoulder, as Sarpong tries to avoid the shot.
Edwards on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Sarpong moves away from the strike by Edwards.
Edwards throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sarpong thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Edwards if he has to take too many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice inside leg kick there by Sarpong. That's going to slow Edwards down.
Edwards is breathing heavily.
Edwards takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sarpong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Edwards swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sarpong uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Edwards.
Sarpong throws a good cross that connects.
Sarpong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A head kick from Sarpong lands but Edwards takes it in his stride.
Sarpong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Edwards throws a body punch but Sarpong moves out of range.
Edwards avoids the head kick by Sarpong.
Edwards takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sarpong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Edwards on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Edwards tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sarpong was well out of range. Poor timing from Edwards.

Sarpong fakes the leg kick and cracks Edwards in the body.

Sarpong throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Oh Edwards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Edwards drops his hands momentarily and Sarpong needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Edwards just on the top of the head. Edwards drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Edwards - he's done!
