PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pounding Ground (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bong BadGuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BadGuy has chosen hits from the bong as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ground shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has BadGuy pinned against the cage. BadGuy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ground closes the distance and clinches up with BadGuy, looking for a takedown. Ground pushes BadGuy against the cage but BadGuy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ground bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ground looking to control but instead BadGuy has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Ground not landing any meaningful shots this time.
BadGuy is in trouble now - Ground has advanced to mount!
BadGuy can't escape the position.

Ground scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ground controlling from the full mount.
Ground in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ground trying to control but BadGuy is having none of it.
Ground misses with a head shot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ground breaks from BadGuy's wrist control and lands an elbow.

It looks like Bong BadGuy has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ground throwing strikes here but BadGuy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

BadGuy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Ground working the ground and pound effectively.

The cut above Bong BadGuy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ground lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bong BadGuy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bong BadGuy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
