The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dixon tries to bum rush Franks with a series of wild strikes but Franks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dixon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Franks tries to clinch up but Dixon circles away and keeps his distance.

Franks is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dixon defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Franks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Franks is pressing down on Dixon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dixon is holding on for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Franks stands up and beckons Dixon to join him on the feet.

Ron Franks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Franks sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Franks throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Franks moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dixon has worked his arm free - good work by Dixon!

Franks stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Franks closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Franks is taking a breather. Dixon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Franks stops Dixon from getting back to his feet.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Franks. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Ron Franks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Franks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
