Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Vedhult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Borsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vedhult comes to the cage accompanied by The skatt bros - Life at the outpost. Borsch has chosen Vikingarna - Leende Guldbruna Ögon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Stefan Borsch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenneth Vedhult!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stefan Borsch!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vedhult slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Borsch throws a hook but Vedhult avoids it easily.
Borsch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Borsch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vedhult doesn't seem bothered though.
Vedhult tries to close the distance and clinch up but Borsch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Borsch throws a head kick but Vedhult moves out of range.
Vedhult fails to land with a series of punches.
Vedhult throws a jab when Borsch was well out of range.
Borsch lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Vedhult has taken the fight to the clinch.
Vedhult tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Vedhult stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Borsch is trying to force a seperation but Vedhult has the dominant position.
Vedhult tries to throw a body punch but Borsch avoids it by throwing Vedhult back against the cage.
Vedhult lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Borsch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vedhult has him pressed against the cage.
Borsch has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Vedhult swings wildly with an uppercut but Borsch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vedhult lands a hook that snaps the head of Borsch backwards.
Vedhult will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Borsch up against the cage.

Borsch is trying to force a seperation but Vedhult has the dominant position.
Vedhult is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Borsch pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Borsch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Vedhult is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Borsch to the mat. Borsch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Vedhult looks up at the clock and then as Borsch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Vedhult smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Vedhult has Borsch pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Vedhult pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Borsch tumbling to the mat - Vedhult dives into Borsch's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vedhult has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Borsch is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Borsch takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Borsch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vedhult wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Borsch swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Vedhult counters by moving into the clinch.

Vedhult is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Borsch can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Borsch tries to lock up and control but Vedhult gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Borsch is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vedhult is staying active.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kenneth Vedhult just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
