Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Par Dough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Par Dough has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Irvin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Par Dough!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Irvin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Irvin lands in his opponent's guard.
Dough wants to sweep but no luck.
Dough throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Irvin wants to control from the top but Dough keeps moving.
Irvin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Dough thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Irvin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dough's guard.

Irvin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Irvin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dough's waist but Dough gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Irvin off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Irvin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Irvin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
