Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nigal kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cannibal Corpse - Death Walking Terror. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Nigal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Bell!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigal wants to clinch up but Bell keeps it at a distance.
Nigal avoids the body shot from Bell.

Nigal moves into range and clinches up with Bell.
Bell lands an elbow inside that Nigal shrugs off.


It looks like Jack Nigal has been cut.
Nigal lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bell backwards.
Bell tries to circle away but Nigal has him pinned against the cage.
Bell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nigal has him pressed against the cage.

Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bell has had enough of the clinch but Nigal keeps him there for the moment.

Nigal looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bell has picked Nigal up and slammed him! Nigal can't keep hold of the triangle and Bell manages to pass to side control!

Bell scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nigal to see if he's OK.

Nigal tries to improve position but can't.
Bell advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bell is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nigal to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nigal shrugs it off.
Bell lands a big shot there that rocks Nigal but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bell throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Bell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nigal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nigal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bell pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Nigal counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nigal postures up.

Bell has control of Nigal's left arm, preventing Nigal from doing any damage.

Bell is looking for a triangle but Nigal pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bell clinches up with Nigal and pushes him back against the cage.
Bell tries to land knees in the clinch but Nigal avoids the damage to the body.
Bell is trying to break the clinch but Nigal has him pressed against the cage.
Bell comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bell looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

and Nigal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bell!

Nigal postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bell looks a forlorn figure.

Bell is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nigal prevents Bell from getting the reversal.
Nigal loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bell scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Nigal land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Nigal stands and salutes the crowd.
