Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Chong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Guy!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Guy needs to keep his hands up - Chong had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Big Guy has been cut.
Chong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Guy looks to throw the jab but Chong is out of range.
Chong looks to land a right hand but Guy moved out of range.
Chong avoids the head kick by Guy.
Guy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chong misses with a hook. Guy ducked under it nicely.
Chong avoids the body shot from Guy.
Chong blocks a jab.
Guy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Guy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Chong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guy swivels and escapes.
Guy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chong to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Chong pushing down on Guy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Chong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Guy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Chong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Guy trying to control but Chong postures up.
Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chong wants to pass the guard but Guy is defending well.
Chong is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Guy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
