PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chubekka Chubbi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Julius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Julius shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Julius showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chubbi is on top in guard.

Chubbi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Julius with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Julius is staying active underneath Chubbi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Chubbi or perhaps it was just good defense by Julius which made him look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chubbi is trying to force a seperation but Julius has the dominant position.

Chubbi gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Chubbi wants to work for an arm triangle but Julius is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Julius landing rabbit punches to the side of Chubbi's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Chubbi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Julius!
Julius has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Julius is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chubbi gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chubbi has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Julius's body.

Chubbi is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Julius. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Chubbi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Julius has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chubbi is looking to control Julius but Julius is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Chubekka Chubbi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chubbi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
