The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brentwood lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Manfield at a distance.
Manfield avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brentwood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Manfield as he jumps to the side.

Brentwood tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manfield sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brentwood somewhat.

Brentwood fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manfield sprawls well initially but Brentwood persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Manfield flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Brentwood thows a huge punch but Manfield dodges it nicely.

Manfield will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Manfield will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
