The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karahanian has a takedown stuffed.
Karahanian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gretzski to score with a decent uppercut.
Gretzski scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Karahanian tries to close the distance and clinch but Gretzski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Karahanian dives in and grabs Gretzski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gretzski pushes down on Karahanian's head and hops out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Karahanian is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gretzski is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Karahanian.

Gretzski lands a left and a right that send Karahanian crashing to the mat, dazed. Gretzski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gretzski drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Karahanian right on the button. Karahanian goes down! Gretzski follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Gretzski gets the win via TKO!
