Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marek Gentlemen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Keating!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keating slaps away a takedown attempt from Gentlemen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Keating. No joy for Gentlemen on that attempt.

and Gentlemen counters with a shoot takedown. Keating fights it but they end up in guard.
Gentlemen wants to stand but Keating has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gentlemen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Keating looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Keating looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Keating!
Keating tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gentlemen's legs.
Keating is staying tight to Gentlemen's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gentlemen can't do much from the bottom here.

You can see the frustration on Gentlemen's face as Keating controls the position.

Keating tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Keating has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Keating thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gentlemen is not content to let Keating control the position.
Gentlemen tries to bench press Keating off him but Keating keeps the position.
Gentlemen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Keating presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Keating putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Keating controlling the pace for now.
Gentlemen is looking to improve his position but Keating isn't that keen on the idea.
Keating looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gentlemen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Keating sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jeff Keating just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Keating is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gentlemen is staying active underneath Keating, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Gentlemen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Keating gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Keating has his takedown stuffed

and Gentlemen counters with a takedown into side control.

Gentlemen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Keating has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gentlemen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keating keeps working.
Keating is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Keating can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Keating is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Gentlemen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Keating is just riding it out for now. Gentlemen eventually gives up the hold.
Gentlemen is looking to advance position but Keating won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gentlemen wants to pass the guard but Keating is defending well.

Keating is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gentlemen works his way into full mount!

Gentlemen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Keating has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Keating!
Keating is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Keating has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gentlemen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Keating is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gentlemen pulls down on the head and he's put Keating to sleep! This one is all over!
