The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range of the body kick.
Aka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Aka.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aka tries to clinch up.
Aka looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Aka wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Aka on the side of the head.

It looks like Jason Aka has been cut.
Aka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Smith drops Aka with a beautiful combination! Aka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith throws an overhand right that drops Aka like a sack of potatoes! Smith dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
