The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to clinch but Shooter moves out of range.
James swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shooter is defended easily by James.
Shooter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
James stuffs the takedown attempt from Shooter. Shooter gets slowly back to his feet.

James throws a big shot that misses.
Rick James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shooter is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shooter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

James drops Shooter with a beautiful combination! Shooter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - James is looking for the KO!

James connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Shooter to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by James!
