Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Koben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torsten Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torsten Karlsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koben swivels and escapes.
Karlsson is looking to clinch.

Koben drives through with a takedown into guard.
Koben trying to control the position from guard on top but Karlsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Karlsson holds on and takes a little breather.

Karlsson is trying to keep Koben in close.
Koben trying to control but Karlsson is working from the bottom.
Koben connects with a couple of short punches.
Karlsson is trying to control the position but Koben postures up.
Karlsson keeping moving, preventing Koben from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Koben circles away from the clinch attempt.

Karlsson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Koben as he jumps to the side.

Koben is trying to trip Karlsson. He has hold of a leg but Karlsson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Koben persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Karlsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Koben throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Karlsson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Karlsson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Koben is looking to improve his position but Karlsson isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Koben wants to hold on but Karlsson pushes him away.

Karlsson lands a big shot there that rocks Koben but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Koben is desperately trying to improve his position but Karlsson has a good base and remains in mount.
Karlsson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Koben looks a forlorn figure.
Koben is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karlsson is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Jeez, Kurt Koben's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kurt Koben's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
