The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollow tries to bum rush Grendine with a series of wild strikes but Grendine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hollow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hollow sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grendine wants to pass the guard but Hollow is defending well.

Hollow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Grendine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hollow did well to prevent Grendine getting side control.
