Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Vega!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands a glancing blow to the side of Vega's head.

It looks like Ronald Vega has been cut.
Vega looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

and Vega counters with a good low kick that Brown was not able to check.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vega throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brown is breathing heavily.

and Vega counters by moving into the clinch.

Vega gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Vega distracts Brown with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Vega is standing up over Brown. Brown looks to escape but Vega dives into side control.

Vega cracks Brown with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Brown is trying to escape the position but Vega is controlling the position.
Brown tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Vega content just to control the position here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vega cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Vega sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Brown is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vega looking to control and managing it successfully.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ronald Vega just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Vega closes the distance and clinches.
Brown takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Leroy Brown has been cut.
Vega connects with a nasty looking knee right to Brown's face.

Vega drops Brown with a big knee straight up the middle! Brown is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Brown tries to keep at a distance but Vega has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vega feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
Vega throws a quick head kick that knocks Brown silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Vega is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
