Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Franks pulls guard successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franks can do anything to dispel that myth.
Franks has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Klein off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Klein tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Franks counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Klein tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Franks counters by clinching up.
Klein misses with a body punch.
Klein tries a body shot but Franks blocks it.
Franks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Franks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Franks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Franks misses with a takedown attempt - Klein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Franks counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Klein!
Franks is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Klein is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Klein flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Franks anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Klein and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Franks slips an arm under Klein chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Franks has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Franks is squeezing on Klein like an anaconda would it's prey. Klein fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ron Franks!
